“The Novotel is modern, spotlessly clean, and in a fabulous location - an easy walk to everything. Our room was large and the bed comfortable. Plenty of storage for two. Be sure to go to the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate; it’s every night at 8pm. Walking along the ramparts was lovely - a mostly flat, shaded trail that runs for more than a mile around much of the city. ”

“The Albion is the perfect place to stay to explore Ypres. It is quiet, comfortable and the rooms have all you need for a relaxing stay. Kettle and beverages in your room and a mini fridge with complimentary bottled water, a great shower and bathroom, spacious bedroom with comfortable bed. No aircon but even with the windows open it was quiet enough to sleep well. Lovely staff, welcoming and friendly 😊”

“We were there for day 1 of the tour and to look around Lille. Enjoyed the hotel - dinner in the restaurant was excellent, breakfasts were great and the room was comfortable and quiet. Its on the tramline and 20 mins to the centre- or 10 minutes uber . Coffee at breakfast wasn't great - but everything else was!”

“We had an overnight stay in the Flanders Lodge Hotel, food was very good although the restaurant closed at 8.30 so had to rush in. Choice on menu was limited but cooed well. Nice bar area and very good breakfast. A very pleasant stay will very helpful staff”

“The hotel is 11 kilometres from the centre of Lille but there is a metro station very near and in the area next to the hotel there's a great path that used to be a rail line going to Belgian birder that is a joy to walk without going anywhere. There is lots of parking for those who need it.”
