“I stayed two nights at the Heritance Tea Factory hotel. As soon as I arrived I was amazed by the scenery, it looks just exactly the same as the photo, surrounded by tea plantations with a great with of the mountains from afar. It is a bit of a drive from the town but it was nice to be in somewhere very peaceful and scenic. They have a lovely welcome ritual and tea. The hotel still has the engines from the factory days and they runs every night for 30 mins. It is full of stories in this hotel.……

“Wow what an experience it was to stay here! It is so off the beaten track that you need collecting by the hotel staff in a very heavy duty jeep because a normal car stands no chance of getting there. It is the most peaceful place I have ever been with the most amazing views of the mountains. I will say it is so remote that you can’t just pop out for lunch etc so make sure you’re prepared with things to keep you entertained for your stay. “Clean room, nice new hotel at a good price. Not near any other dining options without a taxi or tuktuk ride except for a nearby coffee place that was decent. Can walk from there down to the lake, community sports grounds and nearby polo grounds. The horses are feeding on the grass at the sports grounds and are being walked by their riders/grooms.
