“Our family of 6 had a lovely stay! The house was spacious and we enjoyed the location. We had a great time exploring the area and there was plenty to do. Local restaurants were very good as was the coffee shop which we visited every morning. ”

“We booked this cozy cottage for two weeks in mid-October. Donna was wonderful. She reached out prior to the stay to chat through the VRBO site and as we got closer she shared things to do and see in Louisburgh and other close towns. We communicated through Whats App once we landed at Shannon Airport (2.5 hours away). She met us at the house to show us how to use the applicances, turn on the water to the showers, lock the doors, etc. She also had flowers and a card for our wedding anniversary……

“The photos do not do the cottage and surroundings justice as whilst they are spectacular the “real” thing is breathtaking. Everything you need is there. State of the art appliances, lots of cutlery and cookware and more than enough hot water. The log fire 🔥 is hypnotic and adds an extra ambience. The house was immaculately clean and so easy to find and checkin was very easy. We will definitely be back ❤️🇮🇪❤️”

“its position could hardly be bettered, on a promontory with views to East, South, and West. We enjoyed the sound of silence, with occasional bleatings from the hillside. We took advantage of many local amenities and sites, shops, restaurants and walks, including the nearby Connemara National Park. All good!”

“This property was perfect for what we were looking for. In town. Easy access and parking. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The linens and towels were high quality.We only had four in our group, so the size was quite large, but the price is reasonable, and the “dorm room feel” would easily accommodate 8 or more.We had a slight problem finding the unit, but that was because we didn’t read the instructions carefully. There are a few stairs to navigate, so it would not be the right place for……

“Words cannot express how wonderful this cottage and our stay was! The cottage and the surrounding area are beautiful. (We absolutely loved the kitchen and the views). Our host Liam gave excellent recommendations; we loved horseback riding on the beach and hiking Diamond Hill. The beaches are a must see! Guys Bar in the downtown area had great food and servers. We miss being there and hope to return in the future.”

Cottage is comfy but if you are looking for local action, it may be too isolated for you. We loved it& didn’t mind the drive to Clifden, about 20 km. Carna was closer but much smaller but had a pub & pizza.”

“I stayed here with my 2 teenage children and our dog. We loved the house and location. Only a short drive to gorgeous beaches when you turn right heading to roundstone and left towards ballyconneely. The house was really comfortable and well equipped. We all slept well in the calm and quiet of the beautiful surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks a million”
