Beautiful Home on Bass Lake Four Seasons

This gorgeous 6 bedroom, 5 1/2 bath home is nestled in the woods on all sports Bass Lake in Interlochen. Two bedrooms on the main floor feature king and queen size beds respectively, and share 2 1/2 bathrooms. Upstairs, you'll find a master suite with king size bed, spacious sitting area overlooking the water, kitchenette (coffee maker, microwave, sink) and a spa-like bathroom with a jacuzzi tub (water view, of course), shower, basin & separate toilet area. Two additional bedrooms (queen bed and two twins, respectively), share a full bathroom. Two additional twin beds are tucked into a 'sleeper car' cubby off the hall.

The main gourmet kitchen is stocked with every appliance and convenience you can imagine and the homeowners thought of EVERYTHING! Quality is evident throughout from cookware to tableware and all manner of utensils and the pantry is thoughtfully stocked with a wide variety of foodstuffs to make preparing your special meals as easy as possible. This kitchen is flanked by two separate dining areas: one water view and one overlooking the sweeping front lawn. There is a second kitchen off the smaller living area that features a breakfast bar and full size appliances to allow for more 'cooks' when preparing meals for larger gatherings. The main living room is airy and bright with a beautiful stone fireplace, large flat screen tv and comfortable and plush furnishings. Stay connected with free WIFI and cable. Cable connections can be found on the TVs in the main living room, the master bedroom in the main house, and in the upstairs apartment. The TV in the downstairs apartment is device ready.

Covered wrap-around porches, screened sitting room and spacious decks invite you to restore mind, body and spirit in a peaceful and private setting on the water. A gas grill, two picnic tables and lots of seating allow you to truly live outdoors. Two separate game rooms provide amusement on rainy days or for spirited family contests. There is an additional 1 bedroom apartment located above the main house that has a queen bed in the bedroom, full bath, kitchen and small living room for family or friends who'd enjoy an escape of their own! Ceiling fans throughout, satellite tv & wi-fi all combine to make this all inclusive vacation spot one that will make your family feel right at home!

Bass lake spans over 100 acres and has a robust population of Crappie, Sunfish and Small Mouth Bass. Fish from boat, dock or shore; anglers of all ages will enjoy a day a day spent catching dinner or swapping tales about 'the one that got away'. Charter a boat and head out on Lake Michigan for wild salmon or cast your line in one of our dozens of nearby rivers and streams. You're never more than 6 miles from fresh water anywhere in northern Michigan; come find your own "secret spot!"

The Sleeping Bear Dunes National lakeshore is minutes away and offers dozens of hiking & biking trails from Interlochen north to Empire, Glen Arbor, Leland and Northport. Explore the beaches of Lake Michigan or smaller inland lakes at your leisure. There are endless opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast and you'll want to return year after year to explore them all!

Less than 15 minutes away is the internationally acclaimed Interlochen Academy for the Performing Arts. Check their schedule and enjoy a wide range of musical and theater events in open air concert venues or intimate cabarets. For a more cosmopolitan vibe, head into Traverse City, just 20 minutes away, and enjoy a bustling downtown shopping and restaurant district with local brew pubs and home to the beautifully restored State Street theater. Or check out one of the last old-fashioned drive-in theaters minutes away in Honor. Weekend festivals abound in our northern Michigan paradise and whether foodie, wine enthusiast or art aficionado, you'll find something to satisfy any interest.

Due to liability reasons, township rules and insurance policies, day guests are not permitted without expressed permissions from Management. Guest capacity for the home is NOT to be exceeded at any time. Guests not adhering to this rule could face a fine or eviction as outlined in our terms and conditions that are agreed upon by renting our home. Capacity is strictly enforced and randomly checked.

We will provide a starter package of paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap and or dishwasher tabs if dishwasher is available at the property. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Please reach out to management to inquire if a particular amenity is important to your stay, or plan accordingly.
