"This is a cozy little cabin which we selected because of the location and dog-friendly policy. It is a great value, although it does sit on a fairly busy road so you need to have very well-behaved dogs or keep them on a leash. The linens were clean and it had everything we needed. We appreciated having dinner at the pub next door when we arrived after a long drive."

"We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!!"

"My Husband and I booked a room with this hotel for Wednesday and Thursday checking out Friday about a week in advance through Expedia. Worst mistake ever!!! I called Expedia back that Tuesday figuring I would have to cancel letting them know that I just realized I didn't get paid til that Thursday. Expedia guaranteed that it wouldn't be an issue as they had my card information on file and I could pay at check out on Friday. We get to the hotel on Wednesday to check in and couldn't get a room because we didn't have the money up front. We drove 5 hours for nothing. We waisted out time and gas for nothing. However it was not the hotels fault so after we drove back to our stomping grounds we ended up getting a hotel as the owner at Paradise Shores in Holcombe WI had a little faith in humanity so the next day, now that I had the money on my card, we decided to go back to Michigan and got a room at the same hotel. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff were amazing. If you're in the area We highly recommend going to the AmericInn Wyndham Hotel in Ironwood Michigan but if You value You're time and money, steer clear of booking through Expedia..."
