There is nothing offered other than coffee and water. No internet on the third floor due to plaster walls. Owners are working on this issue. The place is very old. Must use dead bolt or the door will open. It is clean and quiet. There was nobody at the desk to check in, there was yelling throughout the house (yes this is very much someone’s house, it doesn’t feel like an inn at all). We stayed for less 30 minutes after seeing the state of the place. The floors in our room hadn’t even been cleaned. Not to mention the very noticeable dirt covering every other surface. It looks like the new owners haven’t taken any time to clean at all. The AC in the room also didn’t work and was covered in black mold. So even if it DID work, nobody should be breathing in mold. The rooms are tiny as well, maybe a foot and a half to walk around the bed and maybe 3 feet from the bed to the wall. That wouldn’t have been as much of an issue if the place wasn’t so dirty and the children weren’t outside screaming. We came for a quiet night stay after a wedding (without children as we deal with them all day) and we ended up leaving after 30 min and driving over an hour back home because we felt that gross and extremely unsafe sleeping in this “Inn.” The owners need clean the place and take NEW!!! PHOTOS of the place to accurately reflect what guests are getting by booking with them. Great location and could be restored to its original cottage quaintness with some TLC.
