"Staff was friendly and working hard. Room was clean, comfortable and nicely updated… but they’re fighting an uphill battle against an aging run down building with apparently a long-broken elevator for 6 floors. Great price on difficult to find lodging in the area."

"Beautiful resort, incredibly friendly staff, great restaurant options and incredible skiing 2 minutes away. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed every single minute of it. The only restaurant I couldn’t recommend is the shabu-shabu restaurant as the portions were small and not much flavour for the money. Well kept rooms, ski/ board storage was great and the onsen was one of the best I’ve visited in Japan. "

"I have never had a bad stay at this hotel. I’ve visited this hotel 3 times since July of 2025\. This last stay I had mistakenly hit the button for Single Smoking Room. When I discovered my mistake, the front desk staff quickly sorted me, and didn’t charge extra for a double room Non Smoking! The restaurants here are also delicious!"
