“Practical unit in a nicely landscaped, perfectly located complex. Nice pool. Convenient to have food trucks on site, but surprising lack of conventional dining options. I’d have expected a cafe or cocktail lounge or at least a convenience store on site. Kitchen was serviceable, with most of what we needed. Nice bathrooms. Climate control was an ongoing struggle, but I guess that just how it is in a humid environment. Overall, we really enjoyed the property’s features ( clubhouse, pools,……

“We had a quick, but nice 1-night stay at the Cliffs. Everything about our stay was easy and enjoyable - check-in, parking, room/cleanliness. We especially loved the pool and hot tub area. If we stayed longer we definitely would have gotten on the tennis or pickleball courts. Recommend for a couple or family. There’s no quick, walkable beach access - so definitely need a car. ”

“We stayed 3 nights in this Princeville condo in April; it was clean, very quiet, comfortable bed, kitchenette with all we needed, washer/dryer very handy. Excellent directions in email made accessing the keys and moving in a breeze! Great location within 10 minutes of both Hanalei and Kilauea restaurants and shops, and close to shuttle to Napali coast. Highly recommend!”

“We had never been to Kauai before and just had to roll the dice and get some recommendations from friends and relatives. We elected to stay 3 days down south and the other 3 days at the Hanalei Resort. We luckily selected a lovely condo with gorgeous mountain views! We had everything we needed to make our 3 days on the north shore spectacular - and they were. I’m glad we split our time and got a little bit of both worlds. This is definitely resort life/living with tennis courts, waterfall-laden……

“The Princeville area is the best for beauty! This condo listing supplied by owner stated there were beds for 3 adults. The couch did not “pull out” and a thin camping mattress was provided. NOT good for sleep! Change the accommodation description please!”

“It is a motel room with a couple of upgrades not a studio. Did not have entry instructions as no internet, extremly stressful locating it in dark and rain. Had to ask a local to log me into their internet to obtain instructions. Need for earlier instructions for internationals. Room has nice appointments, however no comfortable seating, sliding door does not slide, vent on patio blows hot air. It was very clean, good shower, although bathroom setup odd. No a/c, only fans, needed front door open……

“Last minute trip and lucky (for us) the MOST COMMUNICATIVE host we've come across on VRBO! Host responded quickly to every (too many?) questions including last minute questions about parking and WiFi. This was a small space, but perfect for two grandparents and the grandchild. The only thing I'll add is that parking is limited throughout Princeville and particularly limited along the beachfront--NOT unique to this listing. Plenty of spectacular beach options from Kapaa on the east coast through……

“We cannot emphasize enough how amazing David and Lynda's home is. From the moment we arrived to the day we (sadly) left, the Wailua Hideaway was a dream! The back garden, looking out over the stream and mountain, was perfect for morning bird watching with a cup of coffee, and the house was stocked with everything you would need. Plus, it was beautifully decorated and so inviting. If we are back in on Kauai, we would not hesitate to stay here again! Mahalo, David and Lynda!”
