“My husband and I stayed on a Saturday night in November as a birthday treat. We stayed in the loft suite. This room is clean, cosy beautifully decorated. The bathroom is amazing ! We absolutely loved the jetted bathtub. It really was a selling point for us. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely fresh eggs. We enjoyed having our own private dining toom too. Paul was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you .”

“Too many notes telling you not to scratch things. It was nothing like as described on website. Spoon holding the window fastener, other windows held together with duck tape. . Felt damp in there so needed heat. Bedding wasn’t Egyptian cotton, bottom sheet was pea green. Tap just dribbled water out of wash basin.
Lane and track down to property was terrible, full of holes. We didn’t stay for breakfast or to sleep there.”

“The hotel is in a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were staying in the heatwave and there was no aircon and the windows only opened a limited amount so it was too hot to sleep normally. Wasn’t helped by someone turning on the heated towel rail when we reported the bathroom extractor fan wasn’t working. I would potentially stay again but not in hot weather”

“We went to the Alfriston hotel to celebrate our anniversary
The room was average not really up to our expectations
Also the room was unbearably hot with windows wide open all night and the cheap pifco fan to try to keep the room cool which had little or no effect
My wife had a swim in the pool and afterwards smelt like she had been swimming in a river
We went to explore the village early evening had a very pleasant time in the quaint pubs
Arrived back at the hotel at 2030 wanting to get……
