“Had a lovely stay at the Commercial Hotel in Tarland. Brilliant base to visit Tarland Trails, food was great and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful!
Would definitely go back for another visit any time.”
“We stayed in one of the offsite casa style rooms which was perfect for our family (we were parents travelling with two teenagers). Room was clean and had all we needed for our two night stay. We appreciated the afternoon scones and tea in the main hotel. We were surprised that our rooms didn’t have any housekeeping between our first and second nights so I’m not sure if that was part of the casa room service or not but our request for addition towels was taken care of quickly!”
“The most beautiful peaceful place to stay. Staff are just lovely and we slept so well in the comfortable bed. Great food and close to amenities. Coming back in November!”
“Hotel did not do breakast - thought I had booked bed and breakfast. Turned on the evening to be told they don't do evening meals, member of staff pointed to a microwave and toaster and referenced a shop that was closed to buy stuff. Next evening, a saturday, they were serving evening meals was told they did server evening meals. Whether they only seve meals at the weekend or short staffed I don't know.”
