Contemporary Thai style on Lamai Beach

At Pavilion Samui Villas & Resort, contemporary Thai decor uses bold color and expansive windows to frame island views, while traditional Thai compound architecture shapes a more intimate sense of space. Days drift between the New Edge Infinity Pool with underwater LED lights and in-water music, and a laid-back Lamai Beach scene known for coconut trees and rustic beach bars.

  • Dining with a view

Thai, Southern Thai, and Italian menus pair naturally with infinity-pool outlooks.

  • Signature pool after dark

LED-lit swims and in-water tunes turn evenings into a scene.

  • Spa-made-to-order

Build a Spavilion package from aromatherapy to scrubs and facials.

Amenities

  • 120-meter Lamai beachfront with loungers, umbrellas.
  • Pool villas with private pools and terraces.
  • Plunge Pool Suite with spa tub and courtyard.
  • Floating breakfast delivered to private pools.
  • Thai cooking class led by Executive Chef.
  • Sunday Walking Street Lamai, 3-minute walk.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, we stayed 3 nights and we had no real issues. The pool villa was beautiful and the pool had a waterfall which was very soothing to listen to. The room was large and has very high ceilings. The hotel is right on the beach and you can just walk straight to the beach to a number of restaurants very easily, the hotel is also located in a nicer part of Samui so the area surrounding is walkable. The breakfast was a little lacking but overall the stay was great!

We loved this hotel, only negative was the small areas allocated for sunbeds by the pools, if the hotel was at capacity there would be no room. It was right on the beach though with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas too. The staff were amazing and the location was great. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
