"1st- the grounds and building are gorgeous. Very historic and scenic. The apartment that we had was clean and the kitchen was great however it smelled very musty. We had to buy a bottle of Frebreeze and spray a few times a day. The Boathouse restaurant sucks so we ate out mostly. The stay was overall enjoyable"

Luis was very helpful in getting us situated in our cottage and showing us the charm of Highland Club. "Spent 3 nights here & it certainly provided an ideal base for exploring Loch Ness / Fort Augustus area. The apartment is in a new wing so doesn't have the atmosphere & period features of the old abbey but the grounds and old building is lovely. The swimming pool is in the converted chapel. The apartment has all you need for a S/C stay however the pots & pans & cooking trays could do with renewing. The microwave is in the cupboard and only worked it you unplugged it & plugged it in again...a...

"All facilities were available for our needs. unfortunately the springs in the mattress were broken and there were several lumps which we were laying on which resulted in myself getting a sore back. The sofa bed needed cleaning as was very stained. On entering the apartment the floor was very uneven whilst walking on it because the whole apartment seemed as it was subsiding."
