The Casa Helena is very close to the beach. A few steps separate you from the beautiful beach "Praia de Benagil". Directly behind the house is the famous cliff walk: Percurso dos 7 vales suspensos, which is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Europe. From the beach you can explore the famous caves by boat.
The house has 3 bedrooms and has a direct, exceptionally beautiful sea view. Various very good restaurants are also in the neighborhood. The perfect holiday home for the whole family.

Excellent stay!

We loved our stay here! The communication was excellent and the check-in process was simple. The terrace was our favorite part -- there's a view of the ocean on the private terrace on the 3rd floor. We spent some time there every morning and loved it. The hosts were so kind to leave groceries and snacks for us to eat and use during our stay there. The bed was very comfortable. The main bedroom we stayed in has a joined bathroom but there were extra bedrooms and bathrooms that would be great for more guests. Good shutters and curtains that make it nice and dark for a good night's sleep and block out any noise or traffic from outside. AC worked very well. We were a short drive from some of the best beaches/activities and restaurants in Algarve and just a short walk away from the Benagil caves, which we saw by kayak. There are two great restaurants right below the unit -- the staff is very friendly and we enjoyed eating there. At least 4 other restaurants within walking distance. Grocery stores just a short drive away. Overall an excellent stay!

Nice spot in Algarve

Very convenient location for hiking along the cliffs or spending the day on the beach, house is clean and well equipped, great for a nice stay with family.

The house was fantastic, very homely and had everything we needed and more. The host was helpful and left us with complimentary fresh food and drinks which was lovely! The area is busy in summer but it is a great location and there is a great restaurant next door.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Umgebung war sehr schön gewesen auch das Haus war in Ordnung. Was etwas gestört hat, war die Terrasse. Direkt nebenan befindet sich ein tolles Restaurant. Leider ist die Terrasse nicht abgetrennt, so dass oftmals Restaurantbesucher die Aussicht auf unserer Terrasse genossen haben, teilweise während unseres Essens, was uns doch sehr gestört hat. Ansonsten ist das Haus sehr schön gelegen und man hat von dort viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten um die Küste der Algarve zu erkunden. Direkt hinter dem Haus fängt ein Wanderweg an, um die Höhlen von Benagil zu besichtigen und zum Praia Marinha zu laufen. Am Strand direkt, der fußläufig in knapp 5 Minuten erreichbar war, starten die Touren zu den Höhlen mit Kajak usw.. Auf Grund der Tagestouristen war bereits morgens ordentlich was los in dem kleinen Ort. Der Restaurantbesitzer hat uns den Tip gegeben, beim großen Parkplatz mitzuteilen, dass wir ein Haus gemietet haben, so dass wir kostenfrei dort parken konnten, ansonsten sieht es mit Parkplätzen eher schlecht aus in der näheren Umgebung. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befanden sich nicht in der direkten Nähe. Wir haben unsere Einkäufe immer Abends erledigt, wenn wir von unseren Ausflügen zurück kamen.

Bella la posizione della proprietà anche se la vista si gode solo da fuori casa La master bedroom ha un po’ di vista del mare ma il salottino, le altre camere la cucina e i bagni danno tutte su un cavedio risultando quindi un po’ claustrfobiche. La casa è funzionante ma un po’ vecchia quindi qualche scarico da sistemare, una stufetta in bagno che funziona a volte sì a volte no…. Sehr schöne Zeit in super Haus und toller Umgebung

Die Lage war perfekt. Das Haus war sauber und einwandfrei bezüglich der vorhandenen Geräte und Einrichtungen. Das Haus wurde sogar während des Aufenthalts gereinigt. Check-In und Check-Out war problemlos. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

traditionnelles Haus in Strandnähe, leider direkt neben Restaurant

Das Haus ist mehrstöckig und gut eingerichtet, auch nahe beim Strand (ohne Parkplatz). Leider beginnt gleich neben der Terrasse (welche auch nicht wirklich privat ist) ein Restaurant, welches 6 Abende in der Woche offen und voll und dementsprechend laut ist. Null Privatsphäre. Da bleiben nur die wenigen Quadratmeter auf der Dachterrasse. Das wird im Profil nicht klar kommuniziert. 1 von 3 Duschen war ausserdem defekt bei der Ankunft. Die Qualität der Matrazen ist eher mittelmässig (sehr hart). Alles in allem, eine eher durchzogene Erfahrung.

Localisation top

Pour découvrir l'Algavre, la situation de Bénagil est top. La randonnée sur les falaises à la découverte des grottes est de chaque côté de la maison. La plage est très agréable et vivante. Il faut juste spécifier qu'il y a un restaurant ouvert uniquement le soir en prolongation de la terrasse de la maison. Mais cela ne dérange pas trop les soirées.

Beyond Expected

Numa localização prime, a casa Helena é consideravelmente maior do que o mostrado nas fotografias. Oferece toda a privacidade e tranquilidade necessárias, é muito luminosa e sobretudo, muito bem ventilada. Tudo correu muito bem, desde a recepção à limpeza, mas também por todos os artigos que a casa disponibiliza, levando-nos a esquecer que não estamos na nossa própria casa. Todos adorámos a casa e nela resgatámos, nós adultos, as nossas férias de juventude. Aos proprietários, o nosso muito obrigado!
