The condo was very nice. However the house didn’t not have housekeeping, so it was left as the last renters left it. Beds unmade and slept in, trash, only dirty used towels. No clean linen or towels.

Home away from home
We stay with VACASA before and we have good experience. This time not so much. We got to the property ok and we got in ok. There was a very bad odor when we opened the door, but we assumed it was because of old construction and not very often used. We try to open the windows but they were not easy to open so we just open the door to the balcony. About 10 minutes later my son found that the smell comes from a toilet downstairs that seems to be clogged up for days maybe weeks. I cannot explain what was in that toilet (not just what comes out of your body and toilet paper), it took me about 10 minutes to unclog it, but the smell in the cabin it took more than a day to clear up. It is still unclear why a cleaning crew allow that, it seems that they just put the toilet seat down, ignoring? and cleaned the rest of the cabin?. the next day we got a call from maintenance that a tag was written for our cabin and they can stop by to fix it- I have no signal on my phone , and by the time I got the massage it was already late in the night. other than that was all perfect. marius rosu

So close to the slopes . . . but no internet!
Nice, compact condo that makes the most of it's space. Just 5 minutes away from China Peak, you can't beat the location, especially for the price. The condo is newly remodeled and clean, but the bathrooms could use an upgrade when it comes to water pressure and flushing power. Every flush was a gamble! Not a lot of amenities and very stark. Bring everything you need because the kitchen isn't stocked with anything other than salt and pepper. The deck was buried in 5 feet of snow, which was a bummer for those of us who like a little outside time. The biggest bummer was no internet and terrible cell reception. You were basically cut off from the world. Directions to the place were also challenging, but that could have been because the snowfall in the area cut off roads. Still with all that, the place made a great base of operations for visiting the amazing slopes and the beautiful frozen lake.

Enjoyed our stay- good location
Enjoyed our stay. Could have been cleaned a lot better in bathroom areas. Furniture very outdated and dirty in living area for being remodeled. The kitchen set up was nice and cable TV in the living area was a plus.

Very poorly maintained.
Our family has stayed in the Huntington Lake Condo's every year for the past 35 yrs and this one was the worst one we have ever stayed in. Very poorly maintained. Not enough hot water for a 2 inch bath or one short shower!! Inside of frig leaked. No screens on the windows or sliding doors so we fought the bugs and fly's the whole time. Master bathroom sink had no stopper and the water splashed everywhere. Window coverings on bedroom doors were broken. No dresser or drawer space in middle bedroom. Need I go on? Not worth the money we were charged !!

We are disappointed to see our guest did not have a more pleasant experience while staying with us. We are discussing the screens and window coverings with the owner, and maintenance has addressed the rest. Thank you!
