centrally located

Posted Oct 3, 2015
Pros: easy to maneuver to attractions
Cons: Management cooperation. the hotel was booked so they were at capacity and should have taken the extra day off our bill poor customer relations.
Location: close to lake, not walking distance.
was very disappointed tried to change the departure date, month prior to to one less day. Hotel manager said had to go through expedia, expedia said had the opposite!!! So unfortunately had to suck it up. it is located near highrise apartment buildings. If you don't expect much, that is what you get!!! They had plants and garden growing in the middle of hotel. Ugh!!!

Not bad for the price

Posted Sep 11, 2015
Cons: The bathroom door in our room needed to be repainted or replaced. It seemed like a couple corners had been cut during their renovations.
Location: Decent location, and only one other hotel in the area that is not as nice.
Good experience for the price. I was nervous on arrival because of how hot it was in the back wing where our room was located. After running the AC for awhile it cooled down and our stay was fine, but it never felt like it was running beyond 50% power. This is a two star hotel that has had some updates relatively recently, so its more like 2.5 star. The location was very convenient to my friend's house in Lakewood, and because the rates were so reasonable I would consider staying again. Front office staff was very friendly, and the free breakfast had a decent selection.

Great hotel for the price, I'd book again.

Pros: Location: It's quiet, and feels safe, even though it's a bit away from the bars etc.
Cons: For what I need (a room and a bed), not much...
Was in town for the annual Cleveland Tango Bowling marathon, and decided on a "standard" hotel room vs. a hostel or air bnb... (more privacy / flexibility). The price was reasonable, and the place definitely met my expectations for that price point. The beds may be slightly on the harder side, but I slept fine. Room was small, but again, did the job... I didn't go to Cleveland to hang out in the hotel rooms.

Small basic hotel near Cleveland.

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: Close to downtown Cleveland, cute neighborhood, good continental breakfast
Cons: Could use some new ceiling tiles and paint
Location: near Rock N Roll Museum, Cleveland waterfront, Science Center, stadiums etc.
Don't expect high end finishes at this hotel. It was small and could use some sprucing up but the room was clean and it had a really good continental breakfast in the morning. Otherwise it was a ten minute drive to the Rock n Roll museum and was in a quant neighbor with reasonable dining available nearby. Travelling with kids and it met our basic needs. Reasonable priced. I could do another one or two night stay. If you need more amenities or will be in town longer you may need a different hotel.

Not for everyone but perfect for us!

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: Friendly clerk, quick check-in, good quiet neighborhood, one block from Lake Erie and very close to a nice beach on Lake Erie.
Cons: It is an older hotel so I am sure we could have been more critical but it was just what we needed when we needed it.
Location: It was easy to find, the neighborhood was nice, we walked to the places we ate and the location near Lake Erie was excellent especially the beach!
This is an older hotel but it is in a very good neighborhood for walking and trying local eats and sights. It is one block off of Lake Erie and convenient to the local beach for Lakewood. We asked the locals about some of the buildings we saw and they explained them very well to us. Overall we were pleased with our stay because it was neat and clean and our GPS took us directly to it from the interstate. We are simple people so we weren't expecting a five star hotel but it fit our budget and expectations very well. The breakfast was great and we had no trouble sitting down and eating either day that we stayed.

Relaxing 4 days in Cleveland

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Clean, the bed, the staff
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: The location was close to the airport, only 8.4 miles, so that was nice and plenty of things to do and places to go were in walking distance.
The Travelodge was clean, the room was nice sized and the king sized bed was super comfortable! Deepa, the young lady who worked there during the day, made my stay so nice. She helped me out with several things and was super nice. I would recommend to my friends that they stay here if in Cleveland.

Pros: Close to my son's home.
Cons: Staff training.
Very rude sullen staff. Every contact with them seemed like I was interrupting them with routine requests.
