"We loved our stay in a glamping tent here. It was the perfect chill out between hiking the laugavegur and fimmvorduhals trails. The little sauna is great after hiking, the staff were so helpful and the trails in the area are fantastic. Walk the orange trail, the glacier views are amazing! "

"The beautiful views while sipping gin and tonics from the porch was so relaxing. Sometimes it’s fun to be in cities and sometimes the middle of nowhere is just grand. "
A verified traveler stayed at Holiday House 3 Fantastic View
"Even though the property is located in quite a remote area, it’s very well maintained and offers great value for the price. The cleanliness and upkeep really stood out. I was especially pleased to find that the breakfast included a good variety of vegetarian and vegan options. A great choice if you don’t mind a quieter, off-the-beaten-path location and valley of tears and other breathtaking locations are also close to this spot.
The only caveat is you need to let the hotel know about the late checkin and sometimes they dont pick up phone being short staffed."
A verified traveler stayed at The Highland Center Hrauneyjar
"We enjoyed this property for our 2 night stay. The rental unit looks brand new and is furnished very well. It was probably the largest and nicest rental units we stayed in for our entire two week trip. It was nice to have the space!
The only downside to this property is that it was out in the country, away from everything. So grab what you need before retiring for the evening. We were slightly disappointed that our cabin rental was in the middle of the other rentals, so we really didn’t have a nice scenic view. Our windows faced the other cabins and felt we needed to keep the curtains drawn. Too bad the cabins couldn’t be arranged to not look right into the other cabins."
