We stayed for 6 weeks with our 2 small dogs. The garden was large and fully fenced, but not entirely secure for small dogs who could get under the gates. Bigger dogs would be fine. The house is all on one level, with a modern bathroom, two comfortable double bedrooms and an open plan lounge, kitchen/diner with log burner.Ideally situated in a small village with easy access to all the beautiful sites nearby. Fantastic restsurant in the village.

Un séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine avec ma sœur et mon petit chien dans cette jolie maison très bien située. Il y a tout le nécessaire et le terrain est très grand. Nous avons profité de l'avantage d'être dans un village tranquille tout en étant proches de beaucoup de sites à visiter. En résumé, cet hébergement a répondu à toutes nos attentes.

Idéal Dordogne holiday setting

We stayed the Alienor gite, just outside the lovely village of Lanquais near the Dordogne river. Our host Ann is really excellent host. The house is excellent - all the comforts of home, plenty of space, great welcome supplies, spotlessly cleane, nice and cool in the really hot recent weather and excellent value for money. The site up on the side of a wooded hill was really quiet and relaxing, had great views and lovely countryside or riverside walks. The large private garden and facilities solely for our use was brilliant. Ann is always available for very helpful info, tips and suggestions without in any way being intrusive. Indeed, they really added a lot to our holiday experience and enjoyment. We and our dog for lovely walks in the countryside and was a real joy. Many thanks to all three of you. The village of Lanquais within easy driving distance (3.5 km )of the house, had all the facilities you could want - realy nice restaurants, supermarket, fuel station, pharmacy, range of local shops, canoe hire centre, etc. We really enjoyed the spectacular locsl scenary on our 8 mile gentle canoe trip down the Dordogne. Truely a great vacation.

Très bien

Gîte très confortable, spacieux, extrêmement bien équipé, très propre et très tranquille. Nous n avons pas regretté notre choix même si le soleil n'était pas au rendez-vous.

Bonjour, Nous n'avons pas pu nous rendre à notre réservation en raison de l'épidémie de COVID-19. La communication avec votre service clientèle a été mauvaise, l'engagement de remboursement total n'a pas été tenu et bien entendu, après cette 1ère fois avortée, nous n'aurons plus recours à vos services.

Belle maison typique du Périgord, que du bonheur

La maison est conforme à la description. et mieux que sur les photos. Elle est calme, spacieuse, très agréable à vivre, avec une jolie décoration, bien équipée, et surtout bien localisée pour rayonner en Périgord. Les espaces extérieurs sont variés : jardin arboré et fleuri, espace couvert avec lumière pour les grandes soirées et barbecue. De plus vue sur le château du village. Nous recommandons cette maison pour un séjour d'une ou plusieurs semaines. Accueil chaleureux et délicate attention à notre arrivée!

Charme et authenticité, comme nous aimons

La maison est comme nous attendions : un hébergement typiquement français et fort confortable. Elle est très bien équipée, spacieuse et propre. L’emplacement est calme et excellent pour des vacances relaxantes: beaucoup d'activités toutes proches. Charmant village avec un bon restaurant et des magnifiques château et manoirs. Beaucoup de grandes promenades dans et autour du village. Nous vous remercions beaucoup de votre confiance et votre accueil.

Maison très agreable, bien situé, bien équipée

La maison est très bien adaptée et confortable. Absolument rien ne manque : le linge de maison est de qualité comme les équipements ménagers, la salle de jeux intérieur pour les enfants et le grand jardin extérieur sont appréciables, ... La propriétaire était charmante et chaleureuse, encore un grand merci pour la délicieuse confiture !! Les informations touristiques ont été très utiles!! La région est vraiment adorable !!! .... Bref, nous avons passé un séjour fabuleux : la région est parfaite en terme de visites, ballades et découvertes (canoë, châteaux, marché nocturne, cheval pour les enfants et les adultes, randonnée, accro-branche, ...). Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute et conseillerons cette bonne adresse autour de nous !!! ….

Maison magnifique, grand jardin, région à découvrir

La maison typique ancienne rénovée est fort confortable: ce que nous attendions d'un hébergement typiquement français. L'espace est clair et très propre. Le wifi et la télévision multi chaines fonctionnent. Les lits et la salle de douche sont larges et neufs. Le jardin est fermé et grand. C'est conforme au descriptif et mieux. Situation calme et excellente pour des vacances reposantes. Charmant village avec un bon restaurant. Beaucoup de grandes promenades dans et autour du village, en vélo ou à pied Merci beaucoup Ulrich, Berta et Hector le chien

Good stay

We had a good weather. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with everything you would need for self catering. Wi-Fi is good. "Restaurant les Marronniers" in the village was within easy walking distance and correct.

All we need

Comfortable spacious house and helpful friendly owner for whom nothing was too much trouble. We were able to have a much needed relaxing fortnight sitting in the pretty garden when it was hot or firing up the woodburner when we needed to be cosy. Lanquais is tiny, tranquil and pretty with a lovely welcoming bar/restaurant a few minutes walk away . Nearby are many picturesque "Bastide" towns and loads of other places to visit within reach such as Rocamador. Exactly as described and highly recommended.

Amazing, authenticity and charm

The house is situated well in a small village full of charm, neighborhood are bucolic and quiet spot The internal and outside spaces are spacious. The shower is big and beautiful. The bedding is good . The restaurant in the village is nice. There are many "things" to be seen in the surroundings, one week is not enough

Maison typique dans village préservé....

L'emplacement idéal proche village. Se rendre au restaurant à pied est agréable et la table vaux le détour. Parfait pour la dédente et le calme

Parfait pour la détente, le calme, les promenades pied ou à vélo Cette maison est Charmante, confortable, bien équipée et spacieuse. Elle située au bord d'un village près de la Dordogne'river. C'est très agréable Nous avons marché à travers les bois, sur des chemins bien marqués, où nous avons vu faune et flore. La piste cyclable est libre gratuite sur des petits chemins bien indiquée. Cette activité nature est excellente aux alentours de la maison. Nous reviendrons assurément. Parfait!

Wonderful lovely charming french'house

We had a fabulous holiday. The house is wonderful, homely, very fresh and comfortable . Although we come already since years (3!) it is each time again a great experience the watching the sunset with a glass of wine in your hand. I love the combination of old character with modern comfort. The bedrooms are spacious and practical. So we go to book definitely again."
