"Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly however, breakfast staff were rude. Good choice at breakfast; fruit, pastries, hot food choices. The room 314 had a corner balcony and was lovely but didn’t really get the sun. Room very clean, cleaning staff lovely. Beach is 5 min walk away and nice restaurants are 8 mins walk ; hotel is close to bus station The resort is so clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Room was clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom was very big, but could do with update, bath/shower area in particular. We still enjoy our stay very much. "Really enjoyed my stay here overall. The staff were lovely, friendly and very accommodating throughout. They were especially helpful when I got stuck in a random Tenerife and couldn’t get an Uber. I asked reception for help and they happily called a taxi for me, which arrived within about 10 minutes. Really appreciated that. Breakfast was brilliant with loads of choice, and the spa was also a big plus. I had a deep tissue massage which was excellent and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. A couple of small negatives though. The hotel could really do with better signage. It was surprisingly difficult to find certain things, especially when you first arrive. There didn’t seem to be any signs showing where breakfast was, and I also struggled to work out how to get to places like the sauna. The air conditioning in my room also could have been better. I had it set to 18°C, but it definitely didn’t feel like 18°C in the room. There was a ceiling fan too, but I couldn’t get that to work, so the room was warmer than I would have liked. Food at the hotel was also quite expensive. I paid around €39 for patatas bravas and six croquettes, which felt pretty steep for what it was. That said, the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. The staff were outstanding, breakfast was great and I really enjoyed the spa. I’d happily stay again, but better signage, stronger air conditioning and slightly more reasonable food prices would improve things a lot."

"We stayed at the Gran Melia Palacio Isora in August 2026 (2 adults & 15 year old). The hotel is one of the most beautiful properties we’ve ever stayed in with the pool area a particular highlight. The staff are all incredibly friendly, whether that be in the restaurants, bars, housekeeping or pool attendants - they are a credit to the hotel and we cannot praise them highly enough. We stayed in a deluxe pool facing room which was huge and had every amenity we could need. The bathrooms were spotless and the balcony was one of the biggest I’ve ever seen. The hotel also accommodated our request for hypoallergenic bedding. My only quibble with the room was that the beds are on the firm side - careful if you’re used to a softer mattress. The food in all restaurants was a very high standard and service was super quick. You do need to be quick booking the Italian or Nami on the app (we booked as soon as we checked in but by the following morning, everything was booked up). We would recommend you bring some cans of insect repellent as the flies around the pool area and in the restaurants are persistent and will give you a little nibble. However, they leave you alone when bug spray is applied. We’d also suggest getting a taxi to Los Gigantes (10-15 mins) and doing one of the whale and dolphin tours. The Flipper UNO tour we went on was a highlight. Overall, this is an incredibly beautiful hotel, with some of the finest staff in all of Europe. Highly recommended."
