"Beautiful property in the centre of Daroca. There is a private car park just behind the property though it’s good to check in first and they can direct you. Excellent food both for dinner and breakfast and very reasonably priced. Rooms are a very good size. Good welcome from reception staff and the waiter in the restaurant was particularly welcoming. Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Las Cuerlas?
The best area to stay in Las Cuerlas is directly within the village itself, particularly around the central square and the streets leading to the church.

This small, tranquil village is characterized by its traditional Aragonese architecture, with stone houses and narrow, winding streets. The focal point is the central square, often hosting local gatherings, and the historic Church of San Miguel ArcƔngel stands prominently. It's a place where you can experience genuine rural Spanish life.

Couples looking for a peaceful retreat will find the village ideal. The unhurried pace allows for quiet walks, enjoying the natural surroundings, and experiencing local hospitality without the distractions of larger towns. It's an excellent base for exploring the nearby Gallocanta Lagoon, a significant birdwatching site.

For solo travelers seeking solitude and a connection with nature, staying in Las Cuerlas offers a serene environment. You can easily access hiking trails, observe local wildlife, and enjoy the night sky without light pollution.
When is the best time to go to Las Cuerlas?
The best time to visit Las Cuerlas is during the shoulder seasons of spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October), when the weather is pleasant and comfortable for outdoor activities.

During these months, you'll experience mild temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F), making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region, including the nearby Gallocanta Lagoon. The spring brings blooming wildflowers, while autumn offers colorful foliage, both providing scenic backdrops for nature walks and birdwatching. This period is particularly good for couples seeking a tranquil getaway.

Summer (July and August) can be quite hot, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C (86°F), which might be less comfortable for some visitors, especially those sensitive to heat. However, if you enjoy warm weather and don't mind planning activities for the cooler parts of the day, summer can still be a good option.

Winter (November to March) can be cold, with temperatures sometimes dropping below freezing. While the landscape can be beautiful with occasional snow, many outdoor activities might be less appealing.
