Beautiful room and location. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast each day was a nice addition (pastries, yogurt, fruit, and coffee). Easy to walk through all of the old town. Would definitely stay here again!

Short walking distance to the old town, restaurants, shops, and and major sites. We were early greeted by the staff and shown the property. Breakfast on the rooftop in the morning was excellent with pastries, bread, fruits, cereal, yogurt, and coffee machine.

What an amazing place to stay in Lecce. Spacious, modern, clean rooms. With AC in each room: a must in the crazy heat of August. The location is excellent and the hosts are very nice and helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to stay in Lecce.

I had a great stay here. It was clean, comfortable and very well located. There is a little market right next door. The air con works wonderfully as it was very hot. The hosts are lovely people who are very helpful. I would recommend if you intend to visit Lecce.

The property had a lovely studio type room ie bed, kitchenette, bathroom. An Italian breakfast was supplied on the rooftop of the premises. This was a lovely spot to dine. The hosts helped with meal recommendations & ringing taxis. So they helped to make my stay more pleasurable. I would have liked a few amenities for the 4 star status eg tissues, shower cap, vanity set. I was greeted with a bottle of wine and a yummy cake, though. Lecce is a beautiful Baroque city. The Old Town is one of the prettiest and cleanest I’ve seen in Italy. There are a lot of sights to see too eg churches, main entry gates, Roman amphitheatre, Duomo & bell tower with excellent views over the city. I’d recommend this town to everyone.

The hosts, Desy & her husband, are beyond helpful, kind & want to make sure your stay with them is perfect. The rooftop breakfast is very pleasant & satisfying…… They booked all our transfers, tours etc so it was all made easy for us. Mille Grazie!

Excellent holiday in a great property. The owners were very friendly and our room was excellent, very clean and modern with all appliances working properly. The air conditioning was very good in both rooms and breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a nice surprise. The location cannot be faulted, 5 minutes from the centre of the old town meant we could come and go throughout the day. Another bonus was the small shop 25metres from the property, there aren’t many in the town so having one so close was a godsend. Loved it.

Desidera and Gianfranco treated me like family from the moment I arrived at Dimore di Lecce. Check-in was easy, and they took the time to sit down with me over a map of Lecce, marking restaurants and places worth seeing. Their knowledge of Lecce and Salento set me off in the right direction and laid the foundation for a vacation I'll never forget. Their restaurant recommendations were excellent, with a great range of local cuisine and dining experiences. They and their responsive staff also pointed me to everything else I needed: where to buy groceries, where to do laundry, how to get around, and which nearby attractions to see. They even helped me receive an important emergency shipment. No question was too much. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was an excellent start to each day. I ate in the comfortable shade and the breeze among the potted cacti and olive trees, watching the Duomo's bell tower glow in the morning light, with a lovely spread of pastries and yogurts and freshly brewed espresso and cappuccino. My room was tastefully appointed and showcased the beautiful historic pietra leccese stone. The location in the heart of the old town made it easy to explore on foot. Wandering through the alleyways felt like something out of a movie. The beautiful setting was wonderful, but what made my stay truly memorable was the warmth and care of Desidera and Gianfranco. If you're visiting Lecce, look nowhere else, stay here. I can't wait to come back. Grazie mille di tutto!

Excellent communication with host before and after stay. Personal greeting from host and welcome gift (delicious pastry) upon arrival. Very nice bottle of wine presented by host due to VIP status with Expedia. Lovely, clean and secure accommodation, within walking distance of many shops, restaurants and attractions.

It’s a really nice apartment in a historic building in the old Lecce. The location is very safe and convenient to explore the old town. There is also a street parking within 5 min walk, which was very helpful. Desideria is wonderful and very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay ! Was happy to have a kitchen to have the chance to cook and eat at home. Beautiful, comfortable place in the heart of historic Lecce. The owner is fantastic and even had typical treats waiting for us in the fridge. We only had one issue which was trying to get the wood was impossible but we had a data plan so did not affect us. Highly recommend!!
