"The lift was broken so the service lift was the only option. However the landing areas were 'behind the scenes' and poor quality. I did not much care for the long black hairs stuck to the walls of the shower from a previous guest. Clearly not a good cleaning regime. The shower has my pet hate. The shower controls are behind the door. You can't use them without being inside it and it is too small to avoid getting the inevitable blast of cold water that is living in the pipes before whatever the previous selected temperature lands on you. The breakfast was very good -freshly cooked and delivered on a plate. Not the usual buffet."

"Couldnt even get a drink out of the vending machine as the card reader was broken and staff do not have change for the cash part. Car park gets really busy. Windows of lots of the hotel rooms are broken and they let cold air draught in , mattresses in multiple different rooms that I’ve stayed in are all worn and need replacement, the bedding doesn’t even fit the beds properly. Property is extremely dated and in desperate need of a refurb - maintenance is definitely not existent. Power cut overnight , wifi extremely poor. All in all it is very dated, quite dirty and very basic in general "

"Clean hotel with a good location. Friendly staff. Only a couple small complaints. Handle on window was broken so couldn't open it so that led to a hot and unventilated room which wasn't the most pleasant. Also the bed had a mattress topper on it, which both me and my partner had aches and pains due to.. maybe just invest in new mattresses instead of trying to cover the issues. Only minor issues that for what we paid we can't complain really but just minor things would make a big difference!"

"Fantastic location. Modern well maintained good sized rooms. Parking was conveniently located within a less than 5 minute walk Check in, sadly was less than friendly or efficient."

"Booked an executive room. On first impressions it looked good but then you notice where it hasn’t been well maintained or cared for. The most worrying thing was the brown slightly orange stains on the bed cover in two places. I can only hope they were scorch marks from ironing. Bath had marks and chips, no power points near the bed for phone etc. Staff were all helpful and pleasant but despite that I wouldn’t stay again unless rooms have had a facelift. "
