“Host(Jill)was very nice. Room was very clean but very small. No a/c control in the room. Don’t know if there was a a/c problem it was very warm in the room so warm we had to go get a room at motel. Contacted Jill about the a/c and she thinks it was either a closed vent or she forgot to change a/c from fan to cool. We had two nights booked there but only tried to stay the one night talked with Jill and she did refund one of our nights. Thank you very much for understanding Jill.”

“This was my 3rd time renting Cozy Corner. It has all you need for your stay. It is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to a great park, community pool and Pizza Hut! The host is friendly and quick to respond when needed.”

“Jill’s property was peaceful and quiet. We loved our stay. We absolutely loved, Dexter, the donkey and Willow and Marley, the cats. We had a very nice stay. I would not recommend counting the futon as a sleeping option. The bed in the master room was very comfortable, as well as the bed upstairs. Jill was excellent with communication and everything was well written out for check in and check out.”

“Whole duplex accommodates 6 people but the kitchen. 4 plates, 4 cups and only 2 places to sit at a little table. Overall amazing stay just had to improvise to be able to seat 4 at the table.”

“The place was very clean, nice quiet neighborhood and close to downtown which was very convenient. If ever back in the area would definitely book again.”

“We were in town for a softball tournament for my daughter, and the property was just as described. Cold air-conditioning, fast, Internet, and great appliances and sleeping arrangements. My only concern is that there was no hot water for showers. I messaged the owner through the Vrbo app twice and never received a response regarding this. I did receive messages from the owner in regards to taking out the garbage for garbage pick up at the curb and for check-in and check out instructions. Just……

“The duplex is absolutely perfect! Hot water was hot, window unit worked fantastic. Will book this duplex again.”

“We absolutely loved this property. The close proximity to the Shooting Complex was great. Had storms blow throw right before we arrived to a house with no power. Riley was great to accommodate until power was restored and stay in constant communication throughout the entire ordeal. Would definitely stay again.”

“The unit was clean and up to date, the host was hands on and easily accessible, shops, restaurants and gas stations was only a short distance away, the property and neighborhood is quite and serene. I will recommend it to my friends and family when visiting this area.”

“Honestly, we will absolutely be staying here again. The host was honest about the property listing. You are close to train tracks, like extremely close. However, we expected disruptions due to the listing so that wasn't a problem. The portable AC in the living room was really loud, so we had to turn the volume up loud on the TV and felt like we were being rude to our neighbor, but we couldn't hear the TV otherwise. Great stay/location at a great price. Water pressure in the shower was……

“Upon walking in to the property the first thing I noticed was a can of ant/roach spray on the shelf. There was a reason because the unit had bugs. The air conditioning was turned off and there was a musty smell in the whole property. Our party was for 4 people and there were only 3 towels. We messaged the owner around 430pm and finally got a message back around 1030pm allowing us to take a towel from the "property of owner " cabinet and added for us not to take anything else which seemed……

“We had a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely adorable, clean, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was perfect—super convenient to everything in Waterloo while still being in a quiet area. The host was fantastic to work with, providing great communication before and during our stay. They thought of all the little details, and the home was well-stocked and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Five……

“Quiet neighborhood. Appreciate prompt communication from host”

“This was a great place to stay! Our family of 6 with 4 “big” kids had plenty of room and a place like this is better than renting 2 hotel rooms.”

“This is a beautiful old house that has been remodeled and decorated beautifully. It's very clean and would hold a lot of guests. We appreciated that it was pet friendly. And the host answered us quickly when we had questions. I highly recommend it.”

“Cutest little place to relax!!!!”
