"We had a wonderful stay! The setting of the property, amongst those green Basque Country hills, is gorgeous and the building itself has an air of old world charm. The owner and his son were very welcoming and accommodating, we loved interacting with them. We stayed in one of the studios on the second floor, breakfast on the balcony was perfect. "Very clean Polite staff, good English. Asked me to move my motorcycle right to the front of reception, very happy with that. Breakfast was good. 10 minutes walk to centre. Recommended for anyone with a motorcycle. TV had Netflix, YouTube, prime etc. Wifi was a bit slow at times, but I was watching YouTube while using my ipad. I'd stay against."

"I don’t consider the hotel a worthy B&B badge holder. I requested a room for a disabled person, I received no acknowledgement, on arrival around 8pm I asked the staff if the bathroom was suitable for disability and he confirmed yes. I got to the room and it was not disabled friendly. Unfortunately I went straight to a meeting and was unable to query or change rooms. It is extremely dangerous for me to try and enter/exit a bath. Why don’t staff read or respond to a request. This frequently happens. On going to bed there was only a sheet no blanket no duvet so I increased the aircon, it didn’t heat and I spent a cold 10c night unfair sheet. I use B&B a lot but will now review my options. "

"Nice hotel but with its ups and downs. Staff were super helpful and excellent spoke really good English polite and approachable even in the var area the young man working is fantastic. Regarding the rooms especially on the 4th floor need a bit of upgrade the air conditioning is old so makes a lot of noise and even putting it on the lowest setting makes a rattling noise and also the air conditioner is not enough to cool the place down. The pillows were super uncomfortable but that my be my own preferences and last the floor towel for the shower was already dirty when I arrived. An okay hotel but not to Great for a 4 star"

"Nice hotel for a one night stop. Spacious room, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Tasty complementary breakfast, limited but nice, There’s a restaurant directly across the road which is convenient if you want a few drinks or dinner as there’s not much else around."

"Unfortunately room 618 is quite small. The refrigerator did not work. No air conditioner was available even though the temperature was warm. Hotel staff informed that winter rules applied for April. We had to open the windows and the street noise, including the train noise could be heard. We are regular customers of NH Hotels and this experience was extremely dissapointing. "
