“The staff are lovely and the stay was fine. The reason for my rating is that Expedia lists the property as a five star whereas we would put it as a two or three star. The price is in line with a lower star rating. Something to be aware of if you are booking so as to manage your expectations.”

“Overall it was a great stay. Hearty breakfast, friendly staff (Maurice is very funny). Perfect location within the town: close to the harbour, free parking, and bars and restaurants. Didn’t feel the best value for money, but it seems Dingle is just very expensive. The bed was very comfortable, not too hard or too soft. Shower ceiling had black mould, hopefully they fix that soon.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed out two night stay at Barrow Lodge from the minute we arrived to when we left. Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. Breakfast was fabulous. We've been recommending it to everyone since we left as it's a little gem and we'd definitely go back. If you're in the area, stay here!”

“the room was small for 3 ppl. The bathroom was an absolute joke, the sink measured about 6 x 10 with no place to place items .”

“Picturesque and quiet location, with very helpful owner, good sized bedroom, huge guest lounge, good range of breakfast options and lots of helpful advice about how to spend time as a tourist in that part of Ireland. Only little glitch was the wi-fi but that was fixed by rebooting the router, so just like home ;o)”

“A clean and convenient hotel. My only complaint is it is Super hot in summer days since no AC. And there is only one floor - the sunshine brings all the heat in.”
