“This lake cottage was peaceful, serene and just plain magical! The screened porch was a wonderful cocoon from which we enjoyed views of the lake and wildlife while sipping coffee and eating meals. The binoculars provided came in handy when viewing the eagles, loons and the blue heron which fed at the shoreline. The towels were plush, the bed was comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. One issue we experienced with gaining entry to the building which stored life preservers and paddles was……

“Host was very accommodating and helpful! Was a great space to stay and felt homey! In a good area with plenty of amenities nearby.”

“This cabin was the perfect getaway each day after a 3day work shop I attended. Each day I would look forward to getting back to the cozy cabin to rest up. Very peaceful tucked away in the woods. I am a little sad to be leaving!”

“Honestly, this property and the whole experience exceeded all my expectations (which were already pretty high). Kent and the team were so accommodating, making sure that we had everything that we needed and were available at any time. They made special plans to accommodate some friends for a day visit and were so kind and helpful. The property itself was so perfect for what we wanted and the dog so enjoyed the freedom that only a private island can bring! Thanks, Kent, for a very memorable stay.……

“Enjoyed our time in the oaktagon on the island. Staff is extremely friendly and responsive to any needs. Island is quiet and everyone we met was friendly. When I needed some pots and pans, they delivered them right off. The owner keeps in touch and there is a help button to use if you need something that is not there. My only comment would be to have someone pay a bit more attention to the bbq grill and cob webs inside the camp.”

“Very nice unit. Hallowell is a quaint little Maine town on the Kennebec river. Very relaxing atmosphere.”

“Great spot for our family trip.”

“A lovely spot. It is extremely clean. The hostess has thought of everything! There are plenty of nice towels and facecloths and bedding. The bed is very comfortable. We have enjoyed our stay”

“This property is a gem. Located in the town of Rumford, the home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The request to avoid wearing shoes on the hardwood floors is completely understandable, as the floors are beautiful and clearly well cared for.We were especially grateful to arrive and find the air conditioning already keeping the home cool, since we experienced several days with temperatures near 100 degrees. The kitchen was convenient, the property was pet-friendly, and……

“It was amazing! Shawna was great! I forgot to add our pet on the original booking and she was so responsive and we got everything sorted out. The apartment was so comfortable and decorated beautifully! Great space from kids room with things to entertain them to calm adult bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you could think of. We loved “the fluffy butt hut” chicken coop!!! This is a dream place, from veggie garden, pool, tree house, chicken coop. Love it! Will definitely……

“Convenient quiet a very good stay”

“The property was super clean, better than the description, and Tina was incredibly fast with responses to all our questions. I've used VRBO more than twenty times for week or two-week cabins stays and this was as easy and delightful as any of them!”

“I was a day early with checking in so she made arrangements for me to go to a hotel, which was great. The place was cute and two bedrooms was great. I was allowed to take my dogs which was very important to me as one has to take meds 4 times a day and is 15 yrs old. We had a problem finding the right cabin as there is no address on the house. As far as clean, well the beds were good but the cobwebs and the floors were not really swept good. No info about the sink and how to turn on. There were……

“Loved the cabin and the view!! Had a great stay, thank you to our host!! Would love to stay again ”
