The room was spacious, spotless, the beds were comfortable with nice linen. The shower was great and it was nice and quiet and dark, we slept really well. You were also able to control the temperature in the room very easily. Also nice to stay in a genuinely run family hotel with lovely people in charge. The view of Liverpool from my room was stunning. Dave is a friendly and hard working host. The room was excellent, the bed super comfortable, the bathroom clean and efficient. I loved the morning breakfast, which is substantial and tasty. It is convienent for getting around, has parking and the breakfast is amazing. The hotel was warm, clean and the rooms cosy. The owner was friendly and helpful and provided us with advice on the transport links into Liverpool. The hotel is within minutes of the ferry terminal so it was no problem getting into Liverpool. Breakfast was great and beds were comfortable Only real negative was the wifi. Even with a booster in upper hallway we lost reception upon entering our room. Easy access across the Mersey River by ferry to Liverpool. Dave proved us with cards to load for the bus/ferry system Convenient location and free car parking off the street.
