“Unfortunately, we can't agree with many of the other reviews.
We only met 2 staff member and both were not very welcoming.
The property, although being old, is very run down particularly very messy on the outside.
The room we had was just ok, nothing special although it was big and the beds were reasonably comfortable, but the shower was absolutely useless, just a trickle of water, and the two lights out of the three in the bathroom that didn't work were not fixed even though we……

“The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.”
