“Limited parking but you can park overnight on a nearby street with parking for 90 minutes between 9:00 and 17:00. But leave before 10:30! Restaurant is expensive but the quality is good and the staff excellent.”

“I enjoyed my stay at Glenavon. A nice comfortable room and a wholesome cooked breakfast each morning. My hosts were very pleasant. Glenavon is close to the town centre and the railway station .”

“Rooms clean friendly staff nearby shops and restaurants. Looks a little run down in areas and could do with a bit of maintenance. Used facilities and bar in adjacent hotel that was internally linked as the diner and bar in our side was shut. Lovely cooked breakfast reasonably priced . Don’t worry about the weird noises the lift makes when reaching top floor bounces a bit on arrival. Bath takes a while to fill hot water fine but cold a little low on pressure. Overall a pleasant stay.”

“Check in was very easy and quick. The room was nice and comfy, a little on the small side, but the view was good. The bar staff were very friendly and the young lady waiting on was very helpful, she even managed to find us a pack of cards to use. Breakfast was very good, it was nice to be served at the buffet and again, the staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, a really nice stay and we would certainly come again.”

“The hotel is in a very convenient location, within easy walking distance of the pier, tram, and beach. Limited parking is also available, which is a useful bonus. The staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was acceptable, although the selection was quite limited and the dining area felt small. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and condition of the hotel were disappointing. There was visible mould in areas beyond just the bathroom, and the bathroom itself did not feel...

“Fresh new bedroom carpet,clean bedding,dust on top of clothes closet,lots of hair in shower trap.good choice at breakfast although sausages were appalling and bacon very dry & chewy.staff lovely.”

“Room was clean and staff were helpful, had a family room with 2 double beds. But with having children and in a family room I would expect a child lock on the window. Also they was a screw sticking out through the wood of the room door frame latch plate.. apart from that the hotel was clean and staff were helpful.”
