Tight parking. We were lucky to get the tiny space we did. It was just for one night as a pit stop. Quirky old building. Staff seemed nice and the Breakfast as nice.

The room was reasonable, the bathroom was clean, I stayed in the area as I was fishing the reservoir the following day, breakfast however doesn't start until 8.00am,I was outside loading my car at around 7.50am and met on of the staff "can I get a bacon sandwich to take with me or am I too early" I asked, "breakfast starts at 8 o clock" came the reply, consequently I left without breakfast as I was fishing a match and didn't want to annoy my boat partner by turning up last minute. Also the rooms are quite noisy, I expected noise from the bar below but the noise from adjacent rooms was quite noticable, I could even hear the sound of someone stirring their tea, I suspect there's nothing but a couple of sheets of plasterboard between rooms, I'd be surprised if there was any soundproofing at all!

The Mount was in a good position to see the town. Breakfast was good The blind in the bathroom was not private enough you could see in when the light was on and being on the ground floor was it was concerning. A hairdryer would have been nice.

Everything at the Mount Inn was excellent. It was easy to find, the staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, the shower worked well. Soap, shampoo, tea, coffee and milk all provided. Breakfast included - a wide choice - the full english if required! Coffee muslei and fruit for me was just what I wanted. Excellent place, I would definitely stay at the Mount Inn again.

Nice location, quiet room, mostly clean, pleased to see there was a fan available. We were disappointed that the pub doesn't serve food on a Monday night. We missed breakfast as had to leave before 8am. Decent place to stay, would go again. A little tight for parking but worked out okay.

It was great for what we needed at the time. Room was clean, although the bed was a little bit creaky. Staff were amazing. The bar had loads of character, it’s a pity there was no food available on the Monday night we stayed. Breakfast was delicious, full English. We will definitely stay there again
