"Nice clean room, comfy bed and friendly staff. The location is great, a short stroll to the main strip, wine bar and Daylesford hotel. Only downside was the hot water wasn't working the morning we left."

"Wonderful hotel in a beautiful area. We stayed in an executive suite and it was spacious and lovely. Great corner bath and big TV. The restaurant is downstairs and the dinner was wonderful. We got great wood fired pizza very near by which was great. There is no mini bar or room service. But a big fridge and tea and coffee making provided. Bar and restaurant were pricey but great cocktails. There are wonderful walking trails close by. The pool is big and super warm. We would definitely stay again. Check out is very early at 10.00am, so no time in the morning for pool or breakfast unless you are a very early riser. "
"The escape villa is beautifully designed, with plenty of natural light and stunning tree views. The fireplace is a true centerpiece—gorgeous to look at from anywhere in the villa, while also providing excellent warmth and comfort. The open-plan jacuzzi is another highlight, perfectly positioned to take in the views. Both the couch and the bedding are very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. A couple of small areas could be improved: the TV reception wasn’t great, and some of the bathroom silicone is showing wear and light mold. Overall, though, a wonderful stay in a lovely villa."
"Such a unique property. Nestled amongst the gullies and gardens, you wouldn't realise that there are any other villas on the property.
The villas are so thoughtfully set out, very opulent and luxurious, everything you need for a romantic getaway right down to champagne bucket and ice machine!
Instructions for facilities and appliances were really well described, and the cleanliness of the villa was spotless.
Could not recommend more highly and we are looking forward to a return visit! "
"After 24 hours travelling from the UK, arriving late at night with temperatures at 0c, arriving at Lorien was so welcoming. It was warm and cosy. The house had everything we needed including plenty of wildlife in the garden. Would definitely recommend. "
