"I’ve stayed here twice, it’s great value, clean with comfortable beds and bedding. Very affordable and very close to the train station. The first visit was great, second visit the aircon was working and it was so hot! When I mentioned this to staff the following morning they acknowledged “some of the rooms aircon wasn’t working “. It would have been helpful to know that when we checked in. Breakfast is very basic, coffee not great. There’s nowhere else nearby."

"Hotel Frey is a 6-7 minute walk from the Ismaning bahnhof, which in turn is a 13-14 minute S8 bahn ride to the Munich airport. I chose this location as it is roughly half the price of those hotels located at the airport. Because it is located off the main street in Ismaning, the hotel was VERY quiet with absolutely no traffic or airport noise. Several restaurants are within 5-10 walking distance. Breakfast was quite varied, but there were no hot offerings such as scambled eggs/bacon/etc. Like the previous property I stayed at on this trip, this is not a place to stay if you are mobility impaired. Lots of stairs, no ramps, no elevators. Nonetheless, I would gladly stay here again if in the Munich area."
