I will not stay at this hotel ever again. They gave me a room in a very isolated part of the hotel and it was scary. I had to beg for a room change and they only did it since I demanded it. Even when in the lobby I saw several other clients arguing with the front desk staff about other room issues they were having. It’s supposed to be a luxury hotel, but it’s old without even updated rooms that have USB for charging. When I reached out to Expedia about the issue the customer service agent was less than helpful in providing a fair compensation for the whole fiasco. Instead he spent an hour going back and forth claiming to want to resolve the issue and had the nerve to offer an insulting $25. Pankit you need better training in customer service. Needless to say, Expedia customer service team falls short of resolving any customer issues amicably. Very very disappointing!!!

Good … no, great location. Easy walk to Natural History Museum and V&A. It’s a fine four star hotel with friendly service and a standard breakfast buffet.

The property is located in the heart of London and is close to a Tube station, making it easy to visit various places. However, I was disappointed with the hotel. It seems like a very old property, with only the reception area being well maintained. The room was very small, had no windows, and the AC cooling was inadequate, causing me to feel suffocated in the middle of the night.

The room stank of cigarettes and the paint was all chipped and peeling. The bed was uncomfortable and the light level was low. The new guy at concierge was rude and unhelpful. Standards here have fallen very low indeed.

The lobby of hotel is lovely and room was nice but old. We stayed on the 4th floor. The smell as u opened the lift door. Damp and mildew smell throughout the floor corridor. I think there’s a water problem. I saw a staff worker running with the shop vac when getting off the lift I was going to contact them when we arrived back home.

My experience at this hotel wasn’t great and full of ups and downs. It started well when we checked in and we found out we’d been upgraded to a suite. It went down when, after many hours spent waiting in airports and planes, we realized the room didn’t have a sofa-bed (which we already paid for and the person at the reception desk confirmed it had). Around 30 minutes after we let the reception desk know, they gave us another room. This one had a sofa bed, however, as you’ll see soon, it had other shortcomings. First, it was the number of towels and the state they were in. For 3 people, they only provided 2 towels. One was white and another one looked like it had been white some years before, but was now yellow. Because we were at the top floor and the hotel looked like it had been built over a hundred years ago, there was a challenge to flush the toilet. There are more things like that (key card wasn’t working and couldn’t enter the room or the state of the elevators), but to end in a good note, and the reason I gave it 3 stars is because the breakfast options were good. However, I’m not going to stay at this hotel again.

The tube is right there but there is no elevator for the tube. The area is nice with a few pubs with good food plus the two hotels have restaurants. Snack shop, pharmacy even KFC right there. And the tube will take you anywhere else you want to go. Hotel elevator is very secure as you have to use your room key to operate. Porters to handle luggage. excellent value.
