Great service and very clean

Not the prettiest entrance and hallways, but nice, spacious rooms and very clean. I was greeted by a young man who instantly recognized I needed some well needed rest, so he let me check in a lot earlier than normal check-in time. Loredana from housekeeping was a gem 😊 Always smiling and offering me help. In general, the few aesthetic flaws are easily compensated by great service and room cleanliness. Didnt expect to much for the price, but was pleasantly surprised.

I like that it is very close to the Underground station, Kenton, which was very handy for travelling to see the sights. Some of the areas (restaurant) were a little worse for wear. But acceptable.

The property advertised free WIFI and Internet. On arrival we found out that the WIFI was not working, there were no phones in the rooms, without WIFI and Internet we could not keep in touch with our other members of the party staying at the hotel, and our outside contacts. The staff suggested that we take a walk to one of the restaurants to get WIFI!!

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Persistent heavy cigarette smoke smell in the room for both nights which did not clear even after ventilating. We woke up with dry/sore throats. We reported the issue during the stay to staff member Rosalina, who acknowledged it and provided free parking as a goodwill gesture, but the problem remained unresolved. An alternative room offered could not accommodate 5 guests, so moving after settling in with children was not practical. There were also cleanliness issues (spiderwebs). The stay did not meet reasonable expectations for a non-smoking family room.
