“What an enchanting place with so much charm, heart and history. Walking the walled garden, sitting in the drawing room while having a couple of drinks from the bar and chatting with the owner, were our favourite things. A delicious breakfast before we left in the morning topped off a great experience. This is the type of charm you don’t find in big corporate hotels.”

“The location was great, both for views and for convenience. The facilities were good, onsite parking was easy, and breakfast was delicious. Best of all, our hostess Noreen was cordial, helpful and kind. She wrote out directions to the national park, answered our questions, and had cookies ready for our arrival. “Great stay”

“Expedias states there is a restaurant and pizza may be available at the hotel. There is no restaurant at the hotel. You have to drive several miles to find somewhere to eat in the evening. It mentions there is a bar at the hotel. There is no bar. What it means is there is a room where you can bring your own beer/wine that you’ve bought elsewhere. The rooms are cold and it takes an age to get any hot water. On a positive, the young staff we met were very friendly, though both had only been there……
