This motel is close to downtown Manistee. It was clean and not as pricey as some others in the area. It did not have an elevator, and because we got there late, there were no longer any rooms available on the first floor, so be sure to ask for that when making your reservation if that's a concern for you. However, the nice young man at the desk offered to carry up any luggage we couldn't handle ourselves, so it was not a problem.

Overall, clean and tidy. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Good location, easy access to town. The "breakfast" left a bit to be desired and the cost felt a tad high, overall.

The property was very clean and in a beautiful spot but away from the busy town. The room was very clean and had all the stuff you would need, blow dryer, coffee pot. Our front desk man was very friendly and was right on top of everything. Breakfast was a little lacking but enough to get us started with our day. WILL STAY AGAIN

We had a great quick stay at this hotel! Beds were very comfy, room was quiet and staff was very helpful. The only annoying thing we had to deal with was the weed smokers in the parking lot- so stinky.

Overall, they have done a nice job updating the property. A few things to note: There is no elevator so we had to lug our bags and cooler up the stairs. Also, they do not provide daily maid service, which they did not inform us when we checked in. They also have a hang tag stating if you hang up your towels they will not replace them to conserve water. We found out only after we came back after a long day. I had to go downstairs and get additional towels etc. A little annoying. We also had to empty our own garbage. The breakfast was some packaged muffins and cereal. Nothing special. The worst part was the overpowering smell of weed in the hallway upstairs. We aren’t against weed (but cannot partake because we are subjected to random drug tests since we work at a nuclear power plant). However, I don’t want to smell it every time I walk out of my room! Overall, we would possibly stay there again but would also check other nearby properties.

I had two rooms. One of them had no AC. It was the Fourth of July but if a room doesn’t have AC, you swap them out. Booked or not, first come first serve. Swap my room or get a tech in to fix it. I had to share my room with my friends. 3 people in one room. Horrible customer service imho.
