"Staff was super friendly at check-in. Room was very clean and quiet. The location was fantastic as we stayed on 4th of july weekend so fireworks were right down the road. Close to quite a few great things about the area. We had breakfast at the Tavern both mornings and it was quite good and not nearly as expensive as you might expect it to be in this type of resort."

"So, this is one of those places where there was no staff there. They send you a door code, etc. I guess there are people there Th-Sunday. But the place was clean, and though I didn't take advantage of the coffee room or bar, it was quiet with all the electronic age goodies one needs. Nice bath products, too. Note to those reserving on Hotels.com: they don't get your phone number so they can't send your door code to you via SMS. There is a slight delay but the required details will be sent via email. Also, they were helpful when I called and left a message about the door code. Jason called me within 5 minutes of leaving my message. All in all a good place. Finally, there are 6 ev chargers there, too."

"A very nice cabin rental. It had everything you could ask for. Kim was very helpful and answers quickly. If you love nature, this is the place We had a great time watching the many chipmunks and small red squirrels darting around the woods in front of the deck. A beaver swam by almost nightly. A groundhog wandered by. Using the Merlin bird app, we identified 73 unique bird songs in our 2 weeks One of our best memories will be that a young bear that showed up on two occasions. First visit was a brief pose for a photo from the deck then it moved on. The second visit lasted over 5 minutes. It was so cool watching it up so close but from the safety of the deck as it wandered around not bothered by us on the deck, and was on its hind legs scratching a tree and groaning. So, they do visit just be alert and enjoy We hit the peak of the season for the colorful Hemlock Varnish Shelves. Everyday they looked a bit different. It was a restful 2 weeks. The only negative for us was a bit more road noise from Rt 100 than we expected but we still had a wonderful time. Thank you Kim & Russ!"

"Staff very helpful especially when we had a housecleaning issue when we checked into our room. Skye fixed the issue immediately. Very pleasant staff in the restaurant. Pool and adventure area was fun."

"Beautiful house with a great view in a great location. Close to Ludlow and everything you would need, kitchen well stocked and check in very easy. Water view was wonderful, a kayak and plenty of games in the house to keep you entertained. Caught a few fish, swam in the lake, enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. Just a few things to be aware of- there is no washing machine to do laundry, just a dryer. The listing is accurate, we just misunderstood since it lists a dryer we assumed there was laundry. Also, the stairs up to the master room and down to the basement where the kayak and water toys are, are very steep. Not easy to handle for many people. But there are 2 bedrooms on the main floor that don’t require the stairs. Overall great stay and we would return!"
