The view was exceptional, as was the location. In the heart of Lunenburg and within easy walking distance to everything you would need. The building is old and it took a VERY long time to get hot water up to our suite.

The staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a wonderful location and great view of the harbour. The room had lots of space and was clean, except for one thing…the bedsheets had what looked like wine stains in a few places that had not be properly removed during washing. The restaurant food was so so and overpriced. I would eat somewhere else next time.

We were lucky enough to get a room with a gorgeous view of the water. The room, although dated, was very spacious and clean. The staircase leading to the room reminded you of just how old the building is. The hallway carpet was filthy but the room was clean, We would stay there again as long as we were guaranteed a water view.

Unfortunately they had some staffing and town water issues when we were there so we couldn't try the restaurant which is why they only got 4 stars. The great view, room size, and amazing location made up for not being able to eat at the restaurant. The room could use some updates and the bed was smaller than we expected, but we would 100% stay there again. Worth paying the extra money to stay in town and would 100% recommend this place to anyone passing through.
