“The location was great and the apartment had everything we needed. It was so cozy and perfect for a quick overnight stay on our onward journey. I wish we would've stayed for longer!!”

“An excellent discovery of the Melfort Village. Our cottage was perfect in every way. Clean and very cosy with all the essentials. The location is really good as if is slightly raised over the village and the view from the main area and master bedroom is stunning. You can see over the villages and through the lake. Our kids were very happy to play in front of the house too. We have stayed in late October but otherwise the patio table would be a perfect place to have your morning coffee ☕️ ! There……

“An excellent short break, very relaxing. Weather not great but expected due to the time of year, this didn't spoil the week. Staff were excellent and most helpful. The Jamming session of local musicians in the middle of the week was a treat”

“Clean and excellent location. Great communication by the owner. ”

“The apartment is as advertised. Very spacious, well stocked and comfortable. The location is fabulous and the bed, and bedding was the best I’ve ever had at a short stay accommodation. Grigor was very quick with his responses. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.”

“We extended our stay in Melfort village and were rewarded with beautiful weather. Upper Cooperage is a lovely comfortable apartment which now has an ensuite shower room as well as main bathroom. Everything we need is provided and the village is so peaceful and relaxing. All the staff are welcoming & helpful & the Monday music night was great fun. Recommend a stay here.”

“Was a great cottage plenty space all mod cons only thing that was at fault some of bedsheets had smoky smell”

“A great place with very friendly staff and guests. We had a lovely time.”

“We stayed only two nights. The property is about 30 minutes outside of Oban at the edge of a smaller loch and just outside a small village. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, including when we had an issue (likely self-inflicted) with a washing machine. We would definitely stay again, and make time to stay longer and enjoy more of the area as well as the property’s many amenities. Strongly recommended.”

“We had a fabulous time, the staff at Melfort ensure their visitors have a lovely break. The cottage and grounds are always immaculate and there is so much to do in Argyll and Bute. We would thoroughly recommend the resort and the area.”
