Pub part felt soulless and having to sit and drink whilst staff have finished their shift and were chatting to working staff spoilt the quiet atmosphere. “Fantastic 1 nights stay the hosts were so helpful and very pleasant . “Except location, for attractions and activities. Noisy at night on the weekends around town but usually quiets down by 11 pm. Saturday morning chef was not good. The toast was a door stop and barely toasted and the butter was liquid! In the plastic packet. Service was also slow at breakfast but only on the Saturday. All other days were brilliant. Room 4 has a very small sink in toilet/shower room. A sink more appropriate for a cloakroom toilet. Other than those comments loved the Bugle and……

Our guest room was well decorated with good paintings and carved woodwork. and The recliner chair with a footstool was both notable and comfortable. The large sofa was also comfortable. Our balcony with a view of fields beyond would have been a place to relax in on a warm day. The full English Breakfast was both good quality and ample food.”

"We booked this for our pre cruise trip. The location is excellent and the harbour view is spectacular. What actually impressed us is the service. We landed in early morning and with a check in time at 3pm, they tried their best to arrange a room for us before 1pm. What's more, they had our luggage delivered to our room before we even asked for it. And they kindly offered us a late check out. The room is spacious but the light is a bit dim and the bathroom is a bit small. The Jetty restaurant is a must try. We landed in Sun and had the luck with the Sunday roast. Tender roast beef, crispy Yorkshire pudding plus lots of veggies. It's a great place for watching the beautiful sunset. We will definitely come back for another cruise starting Southampton."
