“A very warm welcome at the reception. A really nice room which was very well presented, clean and all the necessary amenities. If we are nit picking, the only thing missing were a box of tissues in the room or bathroom! We had a really nice freshly cooked breakfast in the morning. All round, very good.”

“Lively, friendly pub with rooms around the corner from the main High St. Clean and tidy rooms. Good value. Limited parking when busy. As with rooms above pubs it is quite noisy but pretty well sound insulated and the pub closes relatively early. Staff were pleasant, helpful yet unintrusive. The room we had did not have main lighting so was very dark even with the side lights on and if you opened the blinds people on the street could see in - especially from the flat across the road.
