"Having stayed there before we were so looking forward to our return. But the property has NOT been maintained; the rooms were cramped, dirty and very unappealing. We had booked a 2 day stay and left after one night. Oh, and that beautiful pool shown to the left is bone dry and filled with refuse. Do I make myself clear? Do NOT book this horror."

"The motel was ok, we booked it only an hour or so before we arrived and they were confused about the fact that we had prepaid for a river view room. I think if they would have had more time our room would have been swept out and ready, and there wouldn’t have been the confusion. The restaurant diagonal across the street from the office has amazing food, get the Panang Curry."

"Rooms clean and nice. Parking area a little small, and too close to the road, but okay overall. The breakfast service staff were very kind and professional.
The process of selecting an entree for breakfast the night before was a little confusion--perhaps just wait until the morning at breakfast to ask guests for preference, to make the process simpler."

"We had a lovely stay at the Riverhouse resort. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was beautiful and spacious with great views overlooking the river - very peaceful but easy to access shops/restaurants. Good breakfast - we left early (cycling MHS loop) and staff prepared us a takeaway breakfast on second morning. A very relaxing and restorative stay. We'll return when we are back in Mae Sarieng as it is the best accommodation option. "

"Nice hotel for the price, room was cool and clean. Staff was nice and guy serving in dining/bar area in the evening was especially good. I’d definitely stay there again. "

"Absolutely loved staying here! The staff made the experience so much better! If you aren’t doing a rental car, just be aware that it is pretty far from the city. But would stay here again! "

"This is a very sweet little hotel. The check in lady (and probably owner) was very kind and welcoming. This town is definitely small and off the main path, so we were happy with this place to stay on our road trip. It's an older building and the room was a little stuffy (not sure it's used a ton) but it cleared up with the AC unit and we had a comfortable night. It's a great deal for the price and a cute, safe, comfortable place to stay. "

"It was a quaint quiet spot and our little chalet was facing a small rice field. We were able to sit out on our balcony and enjoy the peacefulness of the place. They have a small restaurant and the food was very good. Breakfast was also good and the prices were amazing."

"The property was beautiful. A perfect place to escape the city, wander around, meditate, see the mountains, whatever you're into. Amazing, kind staff. I'll be back."
"We booked the room with the private pool. The room is spacious and bright. The pool is kept at a great temperature and is surrounded by gorgeous greenery. The hotel offers transport to local attractions and they were always very eager to help. "
