We celebrated our 18th anniversary and it was more than we could have asked for. We are already considering our return visit. “Took my son, his friends, and their dads up for a four wheeler trip. The house was great and had plenty of room for all of us. The hot tub was nice too after a long day of riding. I highly recommend this place for anyone just looking to get away or if you like to ride ATVs/ORVs and/or snowmobiles. Trail access is just a couple of minutes from the property and they lead to pretty much anywhere you want to go in Northern Michigan.”

“The house & bunkhouse were exactly what we wanted for our weekend. We did a combined bachelorette/Bachelor party weekend, so the boys stayed in the bunkhouse and the girls stayed in the house. The house has a large entertaining area that was perfect to play games and hang out all together. The patio & dock were also the perfect spot for hanging out with a beautiful view of the lake. This was the perfect little retreat location and we will definitely be back!”

“Property was close to skiing, only down side had no hand soap and floor was not all that clean, carpet dirty under bar, need to do better job vacuuming. Besides that was good.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. It was in a great location and in a quiet area. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had all the essentials for preparing our meals when we didn't go to Gaylord for supper. It was a nice comfortable place to relax at after we spent the day cross country skiing and hiking. “The whole family enjoyed Carrie’s amazing house! We were a big group (10 people) but never felt cramped. The game room was a hit with the younger people in the group, but we all appreciated the 4 full bathrooms since we had everyone getting ready at the same time for our nephew’s wedding. “Selfishly I don't want to give a good review so it is available for us whenever we want it. Two hours after we got there a huge storm came through and knocked the power out. They were very responsive and kept us up to date when the power was going to be back on. We were very appreciative of that.”

“We had such a wonderful trip! This is such a beautiful lake house on a gorgeous lake. We were able to kayak around the lake and golf in the area. The house is so beautiful, comfortable and peaceful with gorgeous lake views. Love that it was dog friendly and well supplied. Would absolutely stay here again!”

“This house is so cozy and inviting. There is plenty of room to spread out and have your own space. The renovations and new carpet look great! The updated deck was amazing and we spent a lot of time on the deck! The house was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels were soft. There were a few cobwebs but given the time of year and the location we figure there has not been much traffic through the house recently so it was not a concern at all we just wiped them away if……

“This was a great place for my husband and me. It was super quiet, being the off season, and the little patio off the bedroom was nice for watching birds and listening to frogs in the pond. The kitchenette was just right for our needs. We like to go into Bellaire to grab coffee and a breakfast sandwich at Ruthann’s or get a meal at Short’s or The Corner Bistro. But I liked being able to put snacks in the little fridge. The walk-in shower was great and the sofa was a comfy place for a nap. We……

“The cottage worked out great for spring turkey hunting camp with lots of public hunting land nearby. It has a cozy atmosphere and the view of the lake is terrific.”

“Very cozy for just the two of us -- enjoying Special Olympics Winter Games for a few days. The lounge chair in the living room was broken (but still useable). Otherwise everything was great.”
