"Great place to enjoy the ocean in Costa Rica away from the tourist centers! Warm Pacific Ocean was literally 50 feet from the Cabina. The Cabina is a basic cabin with no frills as shown in the pictures, but very comfortable. The ocean waves can lull you to sleep or keep you up at night so bring earplugs. Rita and Sonny are attentive, gracious and laid-back hosts. We went at the end of April when it was hot and humid. Since air-conditioning is rare in Costa Rica, be prepared to take lots of...

"Excellent hotel. Very clean. Pleasant staff. Jusy was so helpful when booking excursions and transportation to and from the airport. The bartending staff was great. Super friendly. The spa was very nice and Mila gave me one of the best relaxation massages I have ever had. "

"Fantastic stay at WET Hotel – Tamarindo! We had an amazing experience at WET Hotel in Tamarindo. The hotel has a great vibe—modern, clean, and perfectly located just steps from the beach, restaurants, and shops. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with recommendations or anything we needed. Our room was comfortable, well-designed, and spotless, with thoughtful details that made the stay feel special. The pool area was a standout—relaxing, fun, and a great place to unwind after a day exploring Tamarindo or surfing. If you’re looking for a stylish, well-located hotel with excellent service and a laid‑back Costa Rica feel, WET Hotel is a fantastic choice. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tamarindo!"

"Clean room and a small Kitchenette with everything we needed. The staff were all wonderful especially Deigan at the reception desk. Great sense of humour and big smile! The security guards were so helpful with moving beach chairs and cushions for us. The proximity to town is perfect. Far enough away from the noise but only a 7 minute walk. It’s not luxury by any means but is a very functional safe and cozy spot for a reasonable price! "

"Clean room. The pool area was lovely the photos don’t do it justice. Just steps from the beach and many restaurants. Also they had a small outdoor kitchen with pots and utensils you could use which I wish I had known about before hand as I would have brought more groceries. Our room had a fridge, microwave and coffee pot as well. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We loved it!"

"Room was exactly as advertised. Super friendly and helpful staff. They were able to supply a crib for our infant daughter. Only a few minutes walk to beach and plenty of restaurants, shops etc. Pool area was great. Can't say enough great things."
