“Our stay was wonderful! The house was perfect for our family of 5. The location to the beach to explore and swim was perfect. The kids loved being able to walk a few steps and be on the beach! The area was very quiet with close proximity to the town. The pizza place and Indian restaurant that are just across the street were both excellent! I’m so glad we chose to stay here for our first time to Costa Rica!”

“It is a short distance from the beach where we surfed the entire 5 days of our stay there and all the shops and restaurants in Tamarindo. Price of food at restaurants was extremely overpriced and I appreciated that the apartment has all the basics to cook a meal. AC worked great, nice small but clean pool. Also had parking available and staff was very accommodating. I hated the noisy metal framed stairs to the loft and we can hear the next door "neighbors" go up and down plus their voices...

“This property gets five stars out of five. Facility, location, security, view, all just excellent. Used the booking agency, RPM Services, for transfers to and from Liberia. Everything in a timely and professional manner. Used Alberth Marchena, 506-7056-8394, AAA CART RENTALS, for gas golf cart. Drop off was on schedule and cart was in excellent condition. Great trip, family already talking about returning.”

“I loved my stay at Pinilla Highlands. The views are amazing and the pool was perfect for a dip or to swim laps. The staff, Yuri, Hazel, and O'Neil, went out of their way to make sure your stay was perfect. It was so calm and serene. I went there to heal and received so much more than I ever would have expected. I went to various beaches most days. The only negative would be the dirt roads to get to Pinilla Highlands. I highly recommend this wonderful place to stay!!!”

“We loved the location of this VRBO as it was indeed walking distance to the beach 10 minutes in the heat & on the hill. It was quiet and pretty and it had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor showers for getting off salt, sand, and lots of dust. Access to a washer/dryer was nice, the pool was very cute, and we didn't need any more space as it was just the three of us and all we did there was shower and sleep and make coffee.The AC works but doesn't get "American cold" -- to be expected....

“Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and comfortable. We really liked the pool. We enjoyed the beach access and didn’t mind that the beach right outside was more for exploring and not for swimming. We liked being able to walk to town for restaurants and activities but it was just a little bit far (about 25 min walk) in the heat. It was easy and inexpensive to get an uber as well but a bit harder for our party of 5 to all travel together (no XL Ubers...

"Excelente la experiencia nos encantó, todo muy limpio, la comida excelente, el personal super amable, todo precioso. Lo único negativo es que en la zona de la piscina llega un mal olor y a veces muy fuerte. Pero definitivamente si es un lugar para volver a ir. Es muy posible que sea un destino fijo cada año. "
