"The place is just as wonderful as it looks. We rented it for our family of 5. It was clean, conveniently located, roomy, beautiful, etc. The pool is a plus on those warmer afternoons. Guiseppe’s parents showed us to the villa and were very kind and helpful. There was a big bowl of fresh fruits waiting for us and whatever fruit in season growing on trees, we were able to eat. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "
