“The Serra was truly wonderful. It surpassed much more expensive hotels we have stayed at even taking account of status upgrades. The room was spacious and beautiful- one small criticism is the low hanging light over the table which I hit with my head - twice. But a lovely bath and separate huge shower along with high quality towels and robes. Lovely bar, sitting area and restaurant. I sound like an advert - but it was really that good.”

“If it was not for the idyllic countryside location of the property, it's grounds, facilities and beautifully appointed accommodation then it was the wonderful hosts who made our short stay a delight accommodating all our family needs. Thank you Alison and Nick (and Oscar & Ruby, sorry we didn't leave you any breakfast leftovers, it was too yummy!).”

“I gave this hotel 3 stars purely because of it's inconvenient location, otherwise the hotel was a very good budget stop-over, typical of French motels, clean and well maintained with secure on-site parking. The lady on reception was super-nice, very helpful with good English. This is definitely not a tourist hotel due to it's location. It's located in an industrial area and there was only one restaurant within walking distance and this was closed on the day I was there; luckily I had eaten a……
