“We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times and always have a pleasant stay.
Hotel is spacious, has lovely garden settings to walk out, rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds,
Staff always pleasent and helpful and we have never had any issues.
Pool area and steam and sauna rooms are great, although can sometimes get quite busy. Not yet used the spa facilities or the huge golf area as our stays are normally eat, quick pool usage, breakfast and go.
Highly recommend”

“Quality of breakfast could be improved. Room was an oven, even with a medocre fan. Price quoted on Expedia didn't make it obviously clear that the Spa facilities were not included in the quoted rate. So, I paid a lot more than I would have...”

“A little gem that we will definitely return to. Rooms were finished to a high quality - not just style over substance. Beds comfy, shower amazing, hot tub fab and one of the best nights sleep for a while. Paired with excellent food and service at Bowling Green Inn, would highly recommend 👍”

“The outlook, surrounding and location is good. The hotel lobby and corridors to guest rooms are good decorated, however the interior of guest rooms are quite old fashion and seems haven't gone through any renovation of modernisation. The furnitures and TV are very old fashion. The cleaniness of carpet and armchairs are not up to hotel standard that causing you reluctant to step on the carpet and rest in the armchairs.
Moreover, due to the dirty carpet in the room, I needed to request for a pair……

“End July 2026. Didn't use Spa or Amenities.
Pros: Overall a good stay. Restaurant/bar food medium priced, bar drinks well priced. Premium room had whirlpool bath, very nice, Good pillows & mattress.
Cons: TV in room quite old, needs time updated to BST, unable to use EPG as mainly not available. New TV would be better.
Knives in restaurant & bar couldn't cut butter, need replacing.
Bath surround needs mildew treating.”
