“We stayed in a beautiful hive which was nicely done and the hotel itself was beautiful. We were disappointed not to have a bath or to be able to use any the sauna facilities and that whole building seemed to be in the midst of renovation. We were also surprised that breakfast wasn’t included and that when we ordered English breakfasts we didn’t get any toast and when we asked for some were then charged £2.50 per slice. I feedback when we departed that I was not impressed but nothing was done……

“Friendly staff, room fantastic, very clean comfortable, nice shower room excellent views, great meals staff very good nothing to much, fantastic breakfast great selection of products. Fantastic hot tubs right temperature very relaxing. Fantastic value for money. I will ne definitely back.”

“In general the hotel was of a good standard the food was very good at breakfast I feel that it lacked choice and beverages should of been more accessible. The bedroom was of a very good standard but lacked a blind so that the curtains could be open and still have privacy where as now once the curtains are open there is no privacy and people can look in from the car park. The shower area could do with a shelf for the shampoo and body wash or dispenser.”

“I highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. An excellent choice of breakfasts included in the price. The restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The location is fantastic with wonderful views of the beautiful Peak countryside.”

“Booked here for mine and my partners 2nd anniversary! Room was bigger than I thought! (Good thing) Nice and clean! Air-conditioning which was a life saver with the weather at the moment! Ended up having a Sunday lunch at the pub next door to the rooms and it was the best Sunday lunch I've had out! Staff we're great and attentive! Would definitely return!”
