“Tolle Begrüßung, sehr nettes Personal. Wir haben immer wieder Ratschläge für Ausflüge und Mittag und Abendessen erhalten. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und geräumig. Tolle Aussicht von der Terrasse im ersten Stock auf den Fluss. Wir haben uns die zwei Tage richtig wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder hier hinkommen. Starting with the positives, Nokanyana is in a very nice setting, the staff on the property (restaurant, front desk, support functions) were all exceptional - attentive and friendly. “DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THROUGH EXPEDIA!!!! The hotel exists but states they do not have a contract with Expedia. We showed up to our pre-paid booking confirmed by Expedia and the hotel told us that our booking didn’t exist due to not having an agreement with Expedia. The hotel was fully booked which left us out a lot of money, which the hotel also mentioned was not consistent with their rate which was multiple times lower than the noted rate through Expedia. “This was a beautiful hidden Inn, the outside appearance does not do it nearly as much justice as it deserves. The interior was modern, well kept and up to date. The rooms were very comfortable. We had a private lounge, and kitchen which was very handy. Its a great place for families travelling together. The staff were also very kind and helpful. Only issue we had was the water from the taps was a bit yellow so it wasnt safe to drink.”

“The property was clean, but substandard in most areas. The welcome on arrival was pretty much non existent and we were told our confirmed Expedia booking didnt exist. The room was very small and the shower more so. There was 1 towel for 2 of us, though another was delivered on request. The aircon, which was essential leaked water when switched on. My trip to the &Beyond Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge in Botswana Africa, was an incredible experience. The staff at the lodges are so wonderful and caring, looking after their guest so incredibly well. Hot chocolates on the early morning safari trips are a highlight. I was travelling by myself after being with a group who went to Uganda and South Africa, so suddenly being alone was a little strange. At every meal at Xudum a staff member would eat with me to keep me company
