"This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at Liz place and it’s always been a great experience. We love the cabin and the lake front. Water is fairly shallow out front so it’s perfect for my daughter and chocolate lab to play in the water. Will definitely stay again! "

"Rosa Lake Lodge was the perfect location for our large family vacation and we'd love to go back again! There was plenty of room for all 14 of us to cook and enjoy time together, but also spread out into smaller groups. The kitchen was very well stocked, beds were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms and showers, and lots of hang-out areas inside and out. We spent a lot of time on the lake and it was so peaceful -- very few others on the water during our stay. The location made it easy for a day trip to Bayfield and a trip into Hayward; Cable was also super cute with good food and coffee, cute shopping, and anything you might need at the hardware/grocery store. This vacation was exactly what we were hoping it would be and we didn't want to leave!"

This summer I stayed there with my family and they loved the seclusion, house, games, and the creek to play and catch small fish and crayfish in. Highly recommend, especially for a large group. "My daughters and their families gathered at this property which worked beautifully for us. The kids are ages 2-9 and enjoyed fishing, kayaking, sand construction, swimming, and the upstairs lofted kids’ hangout. The set-up with the separate spaces over the garage and two bedrooms within the main cabin provided ample space for families to spread out for sleeping. Attention has been given to details including decorating, cooking, playing, etc. We have already booked for next year! "

"Good communication and information provided by host prior to check-in. It is a very well cared for property in a beautiful, tranquil location. A doe and her two fawns visited every day. We made use of the games, kayaks, and fire pit. The only down side was we were traveling with a toddler under age 2 and the yard did not have a good play space. They needed to be contained to the deck areas. Something to consider if traveling with littles. There is an incline from the road to the cabin, and the cabin to the lake. Overall, this is a wonderful property and is perfect if you are looking for peace, serenity, and natural beauty. "

"This was our second year at the chip lodge. we liked it so much the first year that we had to come back. the first year we showed up there was maybe 15 people and the house easily accommodated us. its a rustic vibe. things are old and perhaps that is the charm and what we like about it. the highlight for us is definitely the slow cruises on the pontoon boat as we explored the lake. The kitchen is huge and designed to feed a lot of people. Gary is a nice guy. He lives right next door which is helpful if you have any questions about the lake, boats, lures, fishing, and everything else. The view from the large deck is exceptional. Enjoy your stay here. I'd recommend this place for any large group."

"The cabin was simple comfort for a couple and their dog, with all the necessities. The view of the river was beautiful and the fishing right out the door was great too. Excellent truck and trailer parking, with a plug in to charge the boat batteries. Great Lakes to fish within a 40 mile or less radius. We would definitely stay again!"

"We really had the best time here. The house was cozy, had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. We spent our weekend swimming in the lake, grilling, and enjoying great company by the fire. It was nice to walk over to the nearby restaurant for a quick bite to eat and a cocktail. The highlight of our weekend was fishing off the dock, we caught a variety of fish. We are already planning our next trip to come!"

"It was very clean and a great property. Within walking distance to stores and restaurant. Very friendly neighborhood. And right on the SxS trails. The only thing I would suggest is a bigger coffee maker. Other than it was perfect. I would rent it again. "
