It was very cozy and quiet and with plenty of wildlife (plus the owners horses). Angelika had also put in many extra comforts and treats, which was very kind of her. Our dog loved the area and the dog run outside, but if you have a large dog like we do you best supervise any play time incase they can jump the fence. It was a very rural area which was quiet and relaxing after a busy day or two. There is a courtyard that Merlot could spend some time and area for a walk on the lead. We saw the ponies and sheep, also many roos on the hillside opposite. Probably more set for a spa type, winery weekend but all in all we enjoyed our time there and money from the rental goes to cover expenses for the resued animals.
