“Jean-Francois was the epitome of the perfect host. Dinner & breakfast were gourmet delights. Our room was fabulous & the grounds were stunning. Everything exceeded our expectations & we will definitely be back.”
“We stayed overnight and ate in the restaurant. All rather hit & miss.
Room was clean & comfortable. The problem was it was poorly ventilated & very stuffy with no air con - a fan helped but it was still difficult to sleep. Not helped by being unable to turn off the bathroom light - I guess it used a motion sensor but it was a good 10 minutes before the light went off. Tended to disturb sleep after visiting the bathroom at night.
Much the same with dinner. The langoustine starter was……

“Roadway noise is very prevalent starting at 0500 thru midnight. Any rooms facing the roadway, forget about sleeping with window open, its too noisy. I was in Room 45 on 2nd floor and the trucks and cars going by were a distraction and prevented restful sleep”
